GARDEN RAILWAY

Construction of the Garden Railway started in 2014 and was completed in September 2015.

The main layout is 32mm gauge for to suit “16mm scale” and “O” gauge models. 

There is also a circle of 45mm gauge track to suit “Gauge 1” models.

RAISED TRACK

This 2½”,  3½”  and 5” gauge track is 566ft long,

The steaming bays are covered and have a 12volt supply for blowers.

GROUND LEVEL TRACK

This track is laid for 3½”  5”  and 7¼” gauges, consists of two loops, joined by a crossover bridge to form a single length of 1300ft approxamately.    The track features gradients of up to 1 in 50, a tunnel and a bridge.  Steaming bays are raised and have a lifting travser to move the locomotives to the track.
